About Utility Rubber Stamps

Utility Rubber Stamps began its journey in 1988 in Kimberley, when founder Alvin Drude set up shop in his garage with a simple but powerful vision: to provide reliable, high-quality rubber stamps, name badges, and engraving services to the Northern Cape community.

What started as a small family operation quickly grew through hard work, craftsmanship, and genuine relationships with customers. Word spread, trust was earned, and Utility became known not just for its products, but for its personal service and unwavering commitment to quality.

In 2007, we expanded our reach into the Eastern Cape while continuing to serve the Northern Cape — supporting businesses, schools, government institutions, and individuals with professional marking and engraving solutions they could depend on.

A proud new chapter began in 2023 when Jonathan Nicholson took ownership of the business, carrying forward the same family-oriented values the company was built on. That same year, we opened a new branch in Gqeberha, strengthening our presence in the Eastern Cape and positioning Utility Rubber Stamps for continued growth.
